Keytouch Technology AS has been awarded a long-term contract with ABB for the supply of a range of new and modern control panels for ABB propulsion systems, World Wide. Deliveries will begin in 2015.
Keytouch Technology and ABB has signed a long-term contract for the delivery of new and modern control panels for ABB`s customers, were Keytouch has designed and engineered the control panels in cooperation with ABB.
Keytouch Technology as will supply control panels for ABB`s installations on various types of vessels worldwide.
This agreement testifies that Keytouch delivers strong products with a high focus on quality, technology and flexibility. This strengthens the cooperation between the parties on a long-term basis.
ABB, a global leader in power and automation technology, has received record levels of new orders for the marine part of the group’s business, driven by solid growth in demand for electrical propulsion systems especially in the cruise and ice-going segments. In 2014, the company won orders worth $ 200 million to deliver power plants and Azipod® propulsion systems to cruise customers and $ 900 million to deliver solutions to icegoing and icebreaking projects.
Keytouch Technology AS designs, engineers and manufacture control systems for the marine, offshore, defence and industry segments.
